dead people everywhere

Man, I spared you a rant today!

I was going to write about how many people are getting killed by cops, but I decided against it. Instead, I posted it on a personal blog.

You can read it here, if you want. But don't say I didn't warn you. I have no answers, just sadness in my heart about something I know we can improve.

And that's really the point of this email:

Improvement.

A couple days ago, I wrote about how I was nowhere reaching my only goal for 2016. I'd have to re-group. Take another swing at it. I whiffed and now it's 0 balls and 2 strikes.

I can "take" the next pitch, knowing that most likely it's a "throwaway" pitch because the pitcher still has 3 more pitches to waste before he walks me.

But I'm swinging. I'm always swinging.

That's how I improve. I keep trying. If this didn't work, I'll try that.

Problem is, for the first half of the year, I watched the pitches fly past me. Not a good feeling. I simply didn't try hard enough. Hell, I don't even feel like I tried at all.

But I'm on the road to recovery! Today, I finally will put up my "outline" on Udemy. They have a really crummy interface, to be honest. But that's not what held me up.

Then I can edit my videos and upload them. Then, course #1 is "in the can" and I can move onto the next one.

Until next time,

PS - Speaking of Udemy courses, is there anything you'd like me to create for you that you'd pay for? Remember, I have to earn a living, too :)
