You probably didn't know this about me

They weren't at all "Money Making Online" products.
Nope.
They were solid courses on building and securing your WordPress websites.
Here's a screen shot of one of the sales pages for WP Secure Pro 2.0, written by Jason Fladlien.
I kind of became "barely famous" (the link is to a totally unrelated video from a TV show called, "Barely Famous," that I LOVED).
It's no longer on the air, by the way.
But I'm still here.
And I want you to know that I'm still doing my WordPress thang.
I got into internet marketing in kind of a back-handed way.
I wanted to write about and teach people how to get fit. I was into that.
But there wasn't any real good training about how to do that online. I kind of had to create my own path.
Part of that path was finding ways to get online rapidly, without undue delay, so that I could get my ideas up and running before I ran out of enthusiasm.
I'm known to do that - I get amped about something and then let it die on the vine if I don't implement quickly.
As Willie Crawford says (he probably didn't say it first, but who cares? That's who I heard it from), "Money loves speed."
Makes sense, especially in my case, where my ADD kicks in and I move onto watching squirrels instead of getting stuff done.
The point of all this?
Two things:
- I know WordPress.
- If you have a great idea, implement! Get it online PRONTO. If you don't, your great idea will die. Or somebody else will do it.
- A website. WordPress is the way to go, especially if you follow my lead. You need a good theme, a great page builder, and a way to capture email addresses.
- An Email Service Provider (ESP) like Aweber to collect email addresses and send out helpful information to your subscribers, people who really care about what you have to share.
- A monetization strategy. You can host ads, create your own products & services, or pre-sell affiliate offers. Or some combination of all three.
Until next time,
Bill
