I hope you saw this

I bet you're relieved - no more emails from me about Ray Edwards or Copywriting Academy.

It's closed now.

Whew.

Last week, I went on a little trip with my family to Oregon and Washington, or "'Squatch Country" as we affectionately call it in my house.

While we didn't see any signs of Bigfoot, we certainly joked about it and had fun pointing out Sasquatch and then saying, "Made you look!"

We covered a lot of ground, hitting places we want to possibly move to. Nothing is certain. Just eye opening.

How much more you can get for the price up there opposed to the Bay Area, where real estate is crazier now than it was at the height of the last peak (the one right before that terrible trough).

We could sell our house here and buy two in Washington where they measure lot size in acres not square feet.

But I digress. What I wanted to say today was two things:
  1. Thank you for sticking around, remaining a subscriber, and reading my emails. That means a lot to me.
  2. You can conduct business anywhere you have an internet connection.
I was able to do a fair amount of work while on the road, simply because the gist of my business is email.

Even with just a smart phone, I could compose emails and send them out to you. Now, I didn't do that - I carry my laptop with me, and thanks to Comcast, I could get wifi almost anywhere I went.

(Don't ever count on hotel/motel wifi. It generally sucks.)

But even without wifi, I could connect almost anywhere, except in the place I enjoyed most (north Vancouver, Washington).

Point being: YOU can conduct business almost anywhere in the world, any time of the day.

This is what is known as "lifestyle marketing," a term I kind of loathe but I get its point: Freedom.

Freedom to roam and still be successful. You don't have to stop selling just because you're not in the office.

As I said before, most of my business is conducted through email. You could be doing the same.

EVERY DAY: Compose an email. Make an offer. Push SEND.

I don't like oversimplifying things (or over-complicating them either) - but this is about the simplest method you can use to get what you want out of your business.

But you have to do it every day to maximize your results.

The other thing you have to do: Grow your list. How? That's another email, my friend.
