Why, the sound of money!

This time of year, if you listen carefully, you can hear that familiar sound of money being sucked from your wallet.
I've harped on this a lot over the years...if you want a "lifestyle business," you'd best be creating a lot more content than you're consuming.

Of course, on Friday, you'll totally disregard this plea...I get it. So will I.

But I won't be buying any BSO's (Bright Shiny Objects). You can bet on this.

I will be renewing my BackBlaze subscription. It's a yearly fee that pays for a full online backup of my PC. I've been using it since I had a catastrophic hard drive failure a couple of years ago. The Data Rescue team couldn't even salvage it.

And I offered them a lot of money :(

I will also be renewing my yearly subscription to Thrive Themes. With it, you get all three of their awesome products - Themes, Leads, and Content Builder.

I can't believe how much I spend at Amazon. It's crazy. From diapers to food to electronics, books, music - oh man.

Recently, one of the family car's headlamps went out. I went down to the local auto parts store and spent $50. (Remember when the WHOLE apparatus was like $7.99?)

I got home and it was the wrong one. So I searched Amazon and found the lamp I needed for HALF the price.

Ugh.

But it was worth saving twenty-five smackers.
