I'm a blogger at heart. I like to write. And I like teaching people how to write and blog.
So it makes sense when I hear or see words like "content" or "content
marketing" that my ears perk up and my eyes widen a bit.
I don't remember writing much as a youngster. That is, until I got to fifth grade, when I started writing creatively and haven't really ever stopped.
One day, I might share my story about being a light bulb. Remember, this was 5th grade :)
So when I was able to pick this up a while back, I was intrigued.
>>> Content Forever
(Go to the end of this post if you're reading this in fugly text.)
I mean, content is forever. Now, more than ever. I can LITERALLY go get my lightbulb story from my mom's house. It may take me a while. But paper lasts a really really long time.
Have you ever heard of The Bible? I haven't read it. Frankly, it freaks me out. Too much death and destruction and vengeance
for my taste.
But The Bible has been around a long time. And it will probably be here forever.
Today, content is even more forever. Why? Because we store most of
it digitally, and you know, once something's out there on the internet, it's out there for good.
Ask Kim Kardashian.
Best homemade video ever made (I haven't seen it - but look
what it got her and her family)!
Video lasts forever. And so does the written word.
This will give you a ton of ideas for making your content not only forever, but engaging, educational, and entertaining.
Not a bad trifecta, if you ask me.
Plus, Content Forever gives you more than just a "how-to" on writing great content. You get video, audio, and speaking (yes, speaking, something nobody in "internet marketing" ever talk about).
It's really a great resource. I think you should get it today.
