Going mobile

Published: Fri, 04/17/15

If you haven't heard yet, Google is updating their algorithm again --
this time, they're putting more weight on whether your site is
"mobile-ready" (aka, "responsive").

That means that if your website or blog isn't mobile-ready,
it will take a hit in the search engine rankings.

Here's a way to check - just go here -->

Now, this isn't as doom and gloom as others would have you believe.

It's a small factor among 500 or so factors that Google considers.

However, I will say this: You have more visitors using mobile
devices than you think.

Evidence: I recently ran a "like" campaign on Facebook.

Well over 98% of my likes came from mobile devices.

To say I was surprised would be an understatement. I mean,
I knew more people were using mobile devices, but I had no
idea
that the proportion was this high.

Bottom line: Make sure your site is mobile-ready for the sake
of your visitors.
Satisfying Google is a side benefit.

There is nothing worse than having to scroll right, down, left,
and right to see your content.

Visitors leave when that happens.

If you've been following me or have been a subscriber
for any length of time, you know that I build all my sites
(mine and my customers') using the Genesis framework,
which is the underpinning of the entire suite of StudioPress
themes.

They're built with streamlined code (so your sites load fast -
which is another factor Google takes into account when
ranking sites - and remember, visitors abandon your site
if it takes more than a few seconds to load).

The StudioPress themes are also mobile ready (i.e.,
responsive)
and they're built with SEO in mind.

In short, I love them!

Today's your lucky day! You can get the whole bundle of
StudioPress themes today for $100 off.

Now, that may sound like they're expensive. They're certainly
not free, but you get the Genesis framework, 43 child themes
(all responsive), and super support, with a 30-day money-
back guarantee.

If you're like me, you build a lot of websites and I've
staked my entire business
on WordPress and these
themes.

Get them today while you can save some moolah.

PS - this is a great deal if you build customer websites.

Why?

Because you get a Developer's license with the themes. From
their FAQs page:

"You are welcome to use our themes to develop full websites that can be sold. We do not restrict the use of our themes to turnkey sites."
