I didn't. It was "birthday weekend" for one of my kids. We have a LOT of September birthdays in my family. Whew. Legos and books. Lots of them.

And a fun party with friends down at the regional park: tie-dye, slack line, sword fighting, capture the flag, and archery. Lots of blue food. It was a Percy Jackson kinda day.

That was Saturday :) Thankfully, no bad injuries, just little scrapes and bruises.

Sunday was the "family" party. More food, cake, and presents.

That was the last of our September birthdays. Now there's a month-long lull until we begin again.

Can you believe there are only 3 months left in the year? Geez, where did it all go?

I'm not going to tell you that you only have 90 days left to meet your goals. Nope. That's not my thing. You have as long as you need.

Just a tip, though. Something I've gotten away from. Something that really helped me early in my life. Back when I was a youngin'.

Visualization.

It's not some California hippie thing. Well, it is, but it actually works.

If you want something really bad, you should see yourself as having it already. Before long, your subconscious, which can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy (which is why dreams can scare the crap out of you), begins believing it, too.

Next thing you know, you have it. After you put in the work, of course.

One thing that helps keep your dream front and center is to place written reminders and pictures in prominent places. Like on your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, shower wall (they have these crayons that write on tile and shower stalls that wash off).

The point is: If you want something, you have to relentlessly pursue it. Live it. Be it.

A book that helps with this is Visions To The Top.
