Aweber screwed up

Published: Wed, 10/12/16

I sent out an email yesterday but got a ton of "bounces."

It seems Aweber's server (servers?) got tagged as spam and consequently, a bunch of their emails bounced.

No bueno.

But they fixed it all up in a jiffy.

This is why using a rock-solid email service provider is a GREAT IDEA.

Look, things go wrong. But when they do, you want to know that there's a team behind you, behind the scenes, taking care of it.

And Aweber does that.

In spades.

The email you may or may not have gotten yesterday:

*****

Some weeks just seem to last forever. It's only Tuesday, but it feels like Friday.

Well, except for the gleeful feeling I get on Friday.

It's just been a long week...

I guess between a long client meeting on Sunday, a Meetup last night that went for 4 hours, and doing my taxes over the weekend, plus other family stuff, I'm bushed.

Not to be confused by being "Billy (am)Bushed." Sorry - that was too easy.

Speaking of which, politics. Ugh. I'm embarrassed by all the candidates.

The two main ones don't even seem like they want to win. I know I don't want to vote for either. Ugh. Again.

So let's move onto something we can control: Business.

Specifically, our business.

YOU control who you work with, what you do, how much you charge, and how you want to run your own business.

Nobody else does.

Your customers don't.

Your "fans" don't.

Your accountant and attorney don't.

Nobody but you.

And that's a good thing.

It took me a long time to figure that out.

What took a painfully longer time to figure out is what I don't like doing.

That changed everything for me.

Now I know what I will do, what I like doing, and with whom I like to work with.

Do you know these things about you and your business?
