You don't know what you miss til it's gone

Hi,

Today, I'll be brief:

Get a good domain name registrar and stick with them. You don't realize how much you lose with a bad one until you experience a good one.

I use Namecheap.

There are other good ones out there, but I'm sticking with Namecheap.

Why?

Because of what they don't do:

No hassles
No shenanigans

Plus, what they do:

They give me a discount, every single purchase, because they value my business. And I have done a LOT of business with them.
They give me a grace period. Whenever I forget to renew a domain (they do send out ample notices, yet I still forget, sometimes), I can go in a week or two later (even longer I suppose) and still renew it at the regular rate.

Now, I don't know if that last one is specific to Namecheap or if it's legally mandated and everybody has to do it, but I will tell you this:

I like it. And I like Namecheap.

They are NOT the cheapest. But saving a few dollars here and there is not worth the time and headaches other registrars have caused me and my clients.

Namecheap comes with my highest recommendation.

Don't even get me started on GoDaddy or its crummy knockoff "white label" brands.
