I'm a one-hit wonder

Published: Tue, 12/12/17

Did you hear that THUD?

I wrote a 162-page Kindle and only 66 people ordered it for free.

My first book, back in 2014, was a little more successful: Over 600 downloads, or nearly 10x.

My second book got over 500 downloads...the next two, together, around 800.

It's time to reflect...I think ONE mistake I made was not getting enough reviews lined up ahead of time.

For example, I only got one review published yesterday. (THANK YOU.) Part of the reason is that the book is too long to read in a day (for most people--hell it took me ten days to proof it)...so it's nobody's fault but mine.

Here's what I'm going to do: Anybody willing to review it, let me know. I'll send you 2 things. First, I'll send you a PDF. You can read at your leisure. Second, I'll set up another promo day where you can get it on Amazon for free. Then all I ask for is an honest review.

Cool?

Moving on...

Do you have anything planned, product- or service-wise, for the holidays? As you know, this is a time of year where people tend to open their wallets a little wider and spend some money.

If you do, let me know. I'd love to support you in your efforts.

Today's books:

I'm doing a free promo of my first book, The Ultimate Guide to Blogging Laying the Foundation Part 1: How to Publish Your First Blog in Less Than One Hour.

This is another book of mine, also on promo today: List Building Blueprint: Learn how to build a responsive email subscriber list

I'll be doing a different book every day this week. Tomorrow, this one: The Ultimate Guide to Blogging Laying the Foundation Part 2: Setting up Your Announcement Networks & Getting Google to Love You

All of today's books:

Make it a great day!

Verbiage from Lionel Hutz: Some links I mention in my emails are to resources where I'm an affiliate. When you click and decide to buy, I earn a commission. You don't pay more. I'm proud to recommend those resources I've purchased, reviewed, or personally use in my own business. You should always perform your own due diligence before buying anything from anyone, including me.
