Today, you can get one of my blogging Kindles for free:

The Ultimate Guide to Blogging Laying the Foundation Part 1: How to Publish Your First Blog in Less Than One Hour

Tomorrow, I will have another for you. Make sure you pick them up if you're serious about blogging.

Onward...

I'm surprised I didn't get any flack about the Trump book. I guess email is a lot more personal than Facebook.

Anyway, last Friday's post was not about Trump's policies. Rather, it was about how to set up your own book for really effective viral marketing.

It helps when your subject is controversial. It also helps when mainstream media gets hold of your book excerpts and makes a big fuss about it. It really helps when your subject commands his legal team to send a C&D to you and your publisher.

Not sure it helps if Wikileaks publishes the entirety of your book's text (illegally, by the way)...not sure, by the way, if Wikileaks posted the text or simply shared a link to the book posted by some other law-breaking asshats. (I take this copyright stuff seriously, as it affects my income, too.)

But even if you don't have a big publishing machine, or media connections, or a highly-controversial subject, you can take away a few things from Fire & Fury.

Go back and read Friday's email. I think you will learn a lot from watching how it all unfolded.

Make it a great day!

PS--It's warming up. The blizzard cyclone, or whatever some doofusy click-bait jerk was calling it, is nearly over.

Verbiage from Lionel Hutz: Some links I mention in my emails are to resources where I'm an affiliate. When you click and decide to buy, I earn a commission. You don't pay more. I'm proud to recommend those resources I've purchased, reviewed, or personally use in my own business. You should always perform your own due diligence before buying anything from anyone, including me.
