I'm dead serious

Published: Sat, 12/09/17

Look, I don't normally email on the weekend. This is serious stuff.

You didn't build a website so that people would leave once they got there and realized your site was slow as molasses.

It took a lot of effort, time, and money to build that site.

Why let a slow-loading site chase people away?

They may have actually wanted to spend their money there...

If you take a few simple steps, you can make your site a speed demon and customers won't leave.

They may actually BUY. Or stay and look around. Don't let a slow site scare people away.

Get the down-low and how to do that right here.

If you're like me, you use WordPress for most--if not all-of your sites. It's an easy platform to work with.

There are tons of free themes and plugins, as well as premium, to get your site to look and act like you want it to.

But what a lot of people screw up is page load time. In fact, they don't even think about it until it's too late.

Imagine building a website full of unique content that is actually ranking in Google for popular search terms.

You're getting traffic, but it's not converting.

You aren't making sales. Your bounce rate is HIGH. Like SUPER HIGH. Nobody's sticking around long enough to read about your offers.

Why?

Odds are, your site load times are L-O-N-G. Anything over 2 seconds is bad. But I've seen WordPress sites that take 20 seconds to load.

Heck, just the other day, I built a site that took almost 10 seconds to load the home page. UGH.

Turns out, I had a bigass image on the home page that was taking about 8 seconds to load (compress your images, boys and girls).

Also, consider:

I just picked up a great resource for learning all about making WordPress websites lightning fast. Check it out here while it's still super duper cheap.

I've learned a lot and I'm a damned WordPress expert!

So get it.

Don't forget: It's Free Book Friday.

Make it a great day!

PS--if you're interested, I'll do a video on how much of a difference a few tiny tweaks can make to your site load time/speed. Hit reply and if I get enough requests, I'll do it. Otherwise, you're on your own :P

Verbiage from Lionel Hutz: Some links I mention in my emails are to resources where I'm an affiliate. When you click and decide to buy, I earn a commission. You don't pay more. I'm proud to recommend those resources I've purchased, reviewed, or personally use in my own business. You should always perform your own due diligence before buying anything from anyone, including me.
