The Dance

Last night, I took my son to his first concert. And a concert I'd wanted to see for 20+ years. I had to move two states away to see it :)

It was Garth Brooks and it was, simply, the best concert I've ever been to. Man, that guy has a humble energy that is just infectious, in a very good way.

Anyway, "The Dance" is one of my favorite songs of all-time. Apparently, it's Brooks' favorite song to sing. He killed it.

The message: No regrets. Don't feign away from doing things for fear of failure or the pain that inevitably comes. The Dance is The Reason to live.

And then there was "If Tomorrow Never Comes..." Damn, I cried a lot last night.
