I woke up this morning at 4am and turned on the TV.

Bad idea.

What I saw affected me more than usual. 

I got physically sick.

I'm sorry I'm sharing so much...but I am now sick to my stomach and I'm shattered on the inside.

We seem to wake up to this often. I don't know why.

Except that there are a lot of broken people.

I'm not sure why people resort to such violence, but they do. It's an every-day occurrence.

And it makes me ill. So sad.

I'm taking a knee today. Not in protest. But in sorrow.

I need a mental health day.

I'll see you tomorrow.
