Well, the summer here is over and we're in full-swing rain!

Yay.

Or not :)

Now's crunch time. We'll see if I can survive 4-6 months of nothing but rain.

Saturday, Liam and I drove all over hell looking for a new car.

Well, that's not entirely true.

What we did is spend HOURS at 2 dealerships. 

Long story, but the first one really pissed me off. Supposed to be a no-haggle affair (Costco program).

Apparently, the "internet sales" guy didn't get the memo. First thing he wanted to know was my trade-in. Second was to pull my credit.

WHOA the F### down.

We haven't even driven the dang car I wanted to check out.

So, in a word, NO.

Buh bye.

Second place was awesome. Just like I expected. The sales guy was fantastic. No pressure, here's the deal, let's drive!

And drive we did! Fun car. A little light on power but man o man the Crosstrek handles like a dream. Probably holds the dry road better than my Jetta.

In the rain and snow? No contest.

I'll probably be picking one of those up in the next month.
