Just got back from walking my son, Liam, to the bus stop. Yes, it gets here at 6:39am.

And one thing I noticed this morning that I haven't noticed yet?

There was a chill in the air.

Now, truth be told, I haven't worn long pants since I moved. And I definitely wouldn't be wearing anything but shorts and a tee back in the Bay Area.

Even in the dead of winter...I might wear sweats in the morning but then it's shorts and a short-sleeve shirt.

Which is exactly what I wore this morning: Shorts and a tee.

And I actually noticed it was a little on the chilly side.

It's nice.

I just got back from the Bay Area where it was nearly 100 every day.

Today's high here in Bonney Lake? 76.

That's perfection. Now that the fires have somewhat subsided, the smoke-filled air has cleared and we're getting beautiful views of Mount Rainier.



That is what I get to look at every day (turn on images). I love it. But I do miss my family...

Moving on.
