Does email still work?

Many newer marketers will say no.

But most of us know it's still the best medium for delivering a message that:

a) gets read
b) gets acted on

Yes, I'm one of the "old farts" who believes it still works really well.

But I also know that social media works, too. I would never suggest you choose one over the other.

Nope. Use them hand-in-hand.

But back to email...

IF you choose to use it for your marketing messages, you may face a few challenges:

a) How do I pick an email service provider?
b) How often do I email my subscribers?
c) How do I get my subscribers to open AND act on the emails I do send.

Here are my answers:

a) Aweber. Duh.
b) As often as they want. Listen to them. Ask them. You'll figure it out over time. My suggestion: Once a day. Get in the habit.
c) Great subject lines and engaging content.
