I've got 3 things for you to read today. So please read all the way through.

#1: the "move."

If you've been reading, you know I'm getting my house ready to sell and I'm moving out of state (from CA to WA).

North!

Yes, I'll get used to the rain. Or I won't. I can always come back.

Especially if (when?) the CA market goes bust. But please housing market lords, let that happen after I sell.

The move is ON. I'm getting the Uhaul (what a racket business!), loading it up tonight, and loading my trusty, if very old and beat up, Jetta on the back.

The plan is to take off tomorrow and drive about half way, stop, sleep, eat, and get back on the road Sunday. We should be in Washington Sunday afternoon.

We get keys on Monday.

That's the move. One day, if I'm still alive, I'll share the many challenges we've faced during this moving debacle.
