Happy Valentine's Day

Wow. The things you learn on Wikipedia!

I wanted to learn a bit about the origin of Valentine's Day. You know, the day about love and romance, handing little cards and tokens of affection to your classmates, and having to buy chocolate, flowers, and expensive jewelry for your SO.

(Do we know how to commercialize everything! Boy, do we.)

It seems that there's a little controversy over how Valentine's Day got started and for whom it was. It could have been about one guy, or two.

I found this interesting from Wikipedia: "During the Middle Ages, it was believed that birds paired in mid-February. This was then associated with the romance of Valentine. Although all these legends may differ in ways, Valentine’s day is widely recognized as a day for romance and devotion."

That's a really long way of getting to my point today: Email.

Yes, that's right, email.

You really should pair your internet marketing with email. They go hand-in-hand. Both are good. But they're better together. Just like you and your significant other.

I found this mini-course from Aweber to be interesting and helpful. I encourage you to give it a go.
