[Internet Marketing Coaching Academy Webinars] I am closing down
Published: Fri, 03/22/13
I have to say I'm more than a bit disappointed...
don't read this if you don't want some heart-on-sleeve
soul-baring.
I'm closing down the weekly webinars. There just hasn't
been enough signups to make this a productive experience.
I mean, I don't use these to sell anything. They're pure
content, pure instruction, pure education.
And pure failure.
Thought I'd be different.
And, in a way, I guess I am different :)
Seems that everybody makes a killing doing webinars.
They sell like crazy! The conversion rates are off the
charts! Everybody loves 'em!
Sour grapes...it was an experiment I tried that failed.
Onto better things.
Can't say I didn't try. Wish you all would have been
as excited to learn what I had to teach as I was to teach it.
Now it's time for some introspection. Believe it or not,
this email isn't about me. It may seem that way because
all I did above was bi%(* about the failure, but the key is
right here:
If something doesn't work, either improve it or move on.
If something doesn't work, either improve it or move on.
I tried improving stuff and thought that I was getting better
at it. But you all disagreed (the "market" speaks volumes).
So I'm moving on.
So I'm moving on.
A bitter pill to swallow, yes. But a great lesson learned.
Learning what you suck at is as important--maybe
more so--than learning what you're good at. After all,
it's really easy to avoid the things you're bad at--just
don't do 'em!
That's it for now. To those of you who actually enjoyed
and learned from the webinars, I am deeply sorry that
I'm canning them. I got a big kick out of helping you.
But just because the live webinars are gone doesn't mean
that I'm done teaching. It just means that I'm going to try
another approach. That's all.
