Hi,
Great! Now let's keep up the momentum.
After you get a domain (and maybe you already had one), the next logical step is to get webhosting.
Maybe you already have a web host. If you do, great! Kick back and wait for tomorrow. You're ahead of the game.
Or maybe not.
If you do have a host, but you haven't created any websites on it, you need to re-familiarize yourself with how YOUR webhost works.
(They're all a little different.)
I personally (and professionally) use LiquidWeb & A2 Hosting. (Those are affiliate links, by the way, and always assume when I suggest a vendor that I will get a commission if you sign up with them--full
disclosure.)
I like them both. LW is high-end whereas A2 is affordable.
To be completely honest, I think they're both very very good.
But here's my advice on a webhost:
Get the cheapest quality hosting you can get. Get it from a reputable company like LW or A2.
Each has an entry-level hosting plan that you can easily "upgrade" simply by paying them more :) (They upgrade your hardware, give you more features, and sometimes--if you pay a LOT--give you your own server.)
You don't need any of that yet. Build your site on a cheap shared hosting plan and when you generate more traffic than that plan can handle, move up.
Trust me, they're eager for your success.
If you want GREAT hosting at a very good price, hit reply. I'm a reseller for A2, which means I can offer you more features and capacity for whatever price I deem fit.
I'm sure we can work something out :)
I will beat their price.
Bottom line: Get shared hosting for less than $10 a month. See if your new business is profitable. Then move up when you need to.
But get hosting TODAY. Don't put it off. You've got a domain for a niche you've thoroughly researched.
Now go get 'em!
