Hi,
Now that you've given the niche your website is about some serious consideration, it's time to take some action.
You did read yesterday's email and posts, right? If you didn't, go find yesterday's emails and catch up. I'll wait :P
Taking action is what 2019 is all about for me. And it should be for you, too.
I know YOU probably don't need prodding about this, but I know a lot of budding internet marketing stars who haven't even put up a website - after 1, 2, 5, or even 10 years of "studying."
I don't know why. Fear? Loathing? Chronic procrastinators? Dreamers?
Well, it's time to WAKE UP and take action!
TODAY!
And here's how you do that.
You know your niche. You know your passion. You know how you're going to earn some revenue blogging about your chosen topic.
RIGHT NOW: Go buy yourself a domain name. I use Namecheap but you can use whomever you want. I don't care about that, nor should
you.
What you should care about is maintaining your momentum from yesterday.
Some tips:
- It's important to think about your branding when you purchase a domain.
- It's also important to incorporate your keywords (i.e., niche) in your domain name.
- Shorter is better than longer. Surprise surprise! Bet you'd never hear that.
- Try not to use hyphens, but they won't kill you.
- A dot com is best. However, using something else won't kill you either.
You most likely will have to compromise on the above. You'll get a few but not the others. Look at my domain:
Internet-marketing-muscle.com
It's not short and it's full of hyphens. But it has my keywords and niche in it, it's a dot com domain, and it ties right into my tagline/branding ("put some muscle in your internet marketing").
Do your best. Get it done today, okay?
Any troubles, shoot me a reply.
Cheers,
Bill
