[Profit Pathz] The neglected traffic builder

Published: Sat, 01/14/12

Hi

This is just a quick thought on driving traffic (kind of a theme of late) -- we all know there are two ways to drive traffic, right?

Paid and Free

I won't go into the gritty details of each. Suffice it to say that if you want an instant boost in traffic, buy some ads.

If you want some long-term traffic, get your site ranked high on the search engines and you'll see steady traffic.

Now, what's this third way (by the way, there's a fourth way that we'll go over in another email)?

Affiliates!

Think about that for a moment. If you have a product or service to sell and aren't getting the results you want, take a look at implementing an affiliate program (Bryan and I use JVZoo -- http://profitpathz.com/go/jvzoo/). Your affiliates are your sales army. They can drive traffic to your site--and much more importantly to your offers--without you having to do much. And they can do it in many ways--on their own websites, in their own emails, on social media, in video--you name it.

Everywhere you can promote your website, they can do the same--except there's only one of you and many of them.

Plus, with the newest trend in search being all about bringing in social media results, you cannot have too many people recommending your goods and services.

So, seriously contemplate getting your affiliate program going. Yes, you may "lose" money on each sale (you have to offer a commission to entice affiliates to promote your offers), but you will more than make up for it in sales volume.

Remember, there's a fourth way to drive traffic. It's the Big Kahuna, too. More later.
